1. About these terms

This website is operated by Yannex Projects LLC, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with its studio in Al Quoz Creative Zone ("Yannex Projects", "we", "us"). By using the website or placing an order you agree to these terms and to the policies linked from them: returns and refunds, delivery, cancellations and privacy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, including the consumer protection law and the law on trading through modern technology. Nothing in them limits the rights you have as a consumer under UAE law.

2. Who can buy

You must be 18 or older to buy on this website. Workshops for children and young people are booked by a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on the participant's behalf.

You don't need an account to book or buy. Please give accurate contact details: we use them to confirm your order and arrange delivery.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in UAE dirhams (AED). Artwork and gift card prices include 5% VAT. Workshop fees are shown either including VAT or as a fee plus 5% VAT, and the full amount is shown before you pay. Delivery is shown separately at checkout.

We don't add a surcharge for paying by card. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

Your order or booking is confirmed when payment is complete and you receive our confirmation email. While you pay, the works or places in your basket are reserved for you for 30 minutes.

If a price on the website is clearly wrong because of an error, we will contact you before your order is fulfilled and you may cancel for a full refund.

4. Workshops

Places are confirmed once payment is complete (or, for free events, once you receive our confirmation). See the cancellation policy for changes and refunds.

Participants under 16 must be registered by a parent or guardian. Children must be dropped off and collected on time by a parent, guardian or authorised adult.

Please arrive on time; late arrivals may miss part of the session. Materials are provided unless the workshop page says otherwise. Wear clothes that can get paint or ink on them.

Please follow the instructor's safety guidance. We may refuse or end participation for anyone who puts themselves or others at risk. Tell us in advance about allergies, medical conditions or access needs so we can help.

We sometimes photograph workshops for our website and social media. If you would prefer that you or your child are not photographed, tell the instructor on the day.

Work made during a workshop is yours to take home.

5. Artworks and prints

We photograph every work carefully, but colours and textures can look different on screen. Dimensions are given in centimetres and may vary slightly for hand-finished works. You are welcome to book a studio visit to see a work before buying.

Original works are one of a kind. Prints are sold until the edition or stock runs out.

Buying a work gives you the physical object. Copyright stays with the artist: the work may not be reproduced, printed or used commercially without written permission.

Commissions, murals, installations and art-handling projects are agreed in a separate written quote, which sets out the price, deposit, timeline and cancellation terms.

6. Gift cards and discount codes

Gift cards can be used for workshops and artworks bought on this website and are valid for 12 months from purchase. They can't be exchanged for cash or refunded, except where the law requires. Any unused balance stays on the card until it expires. Keep the code safe: anyone with the code can use it.

Discount codes apply only as described when issued, can't be combined with other codes, don't apply to delivery, and may be withdrawn at any time.

7. Our content and your reviews

The website's text, photographs, artwork images, logo and design belong to Yannex Projects or the artists we work with. You may view and share links to them, but not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

If you send us a review, you allow us to show it, with the name you choose, on this website and in our marketing. We may shorten reviews or choose not to publish them, and we never publish your email address.

8. Website availability and liability

We work to keep the website available and secure, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses or for problems caused by events outside our reasonable control. This does not affect your statutory rights, including your rights for faulty or damaged goods.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you place an order applies to that order.
